The funeral of the late Mrs. Dr. Uriah Upjohn took place this forenoon and a bitter day it has proved. The hacks that left here this morning were drawn by four horses. Quite a number went from here to attend the funeral. Rev. Milton Bradley preached the discourse from Proverbs 81:28. The pall bearers were Samuel Carson, Simpson Howland, W. G. Kirby, Chas. Jones, Gilbert E. Beed, B. F. Spaulding.
