Wife Of Retired Post Office' Employee Dies At 69.

Mrs. Lou Clement Allen of 960 Maddson, wife of J. A. Allen, retired Post Office employee, died at 10:05 last night at St. Joseph Hospital. She had been a patient in the hospital since Thursday night, when she suffered a heart attack. She was 69.

She was born in Benton County, Tenn., the daughter of the late State Senator J. A. Clement and Mrs. Clement of Camden, Tenn., and Dickson, Tenn. She moved to Memphis in 1905.

She was a member of Union Avenue Methodist Church, She leaves three sons, Hugh C. Allen of Atlanta, and Harry Lynn Allen and Raymond A. Allen, both, of Memphis; a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Jerome of Memphis; a brother, Newt Clement of Pegram, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. W H. Lashlee of Camden and Mrs. J. B. Walthour of Chattanoona; three half-brothers, Robert Clement of Dickson, Arch Clement of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Malcolm Clement of MeEwen, Tenn.; and a half-sister, Mrs. Carl Nix of Dickson.

National Funeral Rome is in charge.
