FROSTBURG,MARYLAND -- December 11 - Robert Meese, 47, son of Mrs. Mary Meese and the late Daniel Meese, died yesterday at Miners' Hospital, where he had been a patient for four weeks. Mr. Meese, a farmer, was also employed by the city of Frostburg as night pumpman at Piney Run Dam.
A member of the Greenville Township Lutheran Church, he was widely known among the rural residents of Garrett county.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Miss Mary Albright; children, Mrs. Grace Paul, Glenn, Merle, Margaret, Nellie and Marion Meese, Garrett county; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Diest, Friedens, Pa.; Mrs. Eva Landis and Mrs. June Kemp, Salisbury, Pa.; Mrs. Carl Layman, this city, and flve brothers, Reed, Salisbury, Pa.; George, Frostburg; Leroy, Woodrow and Samuel, Cohocton, N. Y.
