Interment was in the church cemetery. Mr. Meese was a well-known cattle dealer in this section for many years.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Meese, and these children: Robert Meese of near Salisbury; Mrs. Benjamin Geist, Friedens; Reed Meese, Greenville Township; Mrs. Robert Landis, Salisbury; Mrs. Carlton Lehman[sic, Layman] Frostburg, Md.; George D. Meese, Greenville Township; Leroy Meese, Coshocton, N. Y.; Woodrow Meese, at home; Mrs. William Camp, Boynton; and Samuel Meese, at home.
