SALISBURY,PENNSYLVANIA -- Reid H. Meese, 61, of RD 1, Salisbury, died suddenly yesterday in Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was a native of Garrett County, Md., and was a son of the late Daniel D. and Mary E. (Wetmiller) Meese.

Survivors include his widow, Emma (Dietle) Meese; a daughter, Mrs. Alverta McKenzie, RD 3, Meyersdale; twin sons, Donald and Dole Meese, both at home; three brothers, George Meese, Frostburg; Leroy Meese, Coshocton, N. Y., and Woodrow Meese, Avoca, N. Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Deist, Jenners; Mrs. Robert Landis, of here; Mrs. Carl Layman, Frostburg, and Mrs. June Kemp, Kent, Ohio, and three grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p. m. at Greenville Lutheran Church by Rev. M. J. Ross. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will be at the residence after 7 p. m. today and will be taken to the church at 1 p. m. Thursday.
