A. A. Duke, (Albiron Asbury)Duke was the son of William Washington Duke and Emily Bell Swain of Marion County, Georgia. He had two siblings, Pernola Ann Duke 1860-1884 who married David Perry Mathias Posey of Columbus, Ga. and William S. C. Duke also of Hunt Co., Tx.
The births of these three Duke children are recorded in the Swain Family Bible which state Pernola Ann Duke born 08 Nov 1860, William S, C, Duke born 23 May 1862 and Albiron Asbury Duke born 01 Sep 1863.
