Nancy A. Stolar Sokolowski, 81, of 1399 W. Genesee Road, Baldwinsville, died Monday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Liverpool, Mrs. Sokolowski lived in Baldwinsville since 1981. Her husband, Sigmund, died in 1983. Mrs. Sokolowski was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Syracuse.
Surviving are a son, Richard L. of Liverpool; two daughters, Dorothy A. Verin of Baldwinsville and Marion N. Hulbert of Brewerton; six sisters, Ann Plummer of Liverpool, Olga Davis of Brewerton, Mary Filipski of Cicero, Dian Groth of LaFayette, Jenny Lanternier of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Mildred Columbus of Sterling; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Thursday at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, and 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
