Died Saturday, Sept. 2, 1978, in Glenwood Hospital, West Monroe. He was 77, a native and resident of Columbia. He was retired from the Louisiana public school system, East Baton Rouge Parish, and was a veteran of World War II.
Body to be at Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia. Religious services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Columbia United Methodist Church, the Rev. Eugene Kimble officiating. Burial in Columbia Hill Cemetery.
Survived by one brother, Tom McSween, Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Alice Stafford, Alexandria; a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are W.C. Horn, G.A. Mann, Murrell McGuffee, Lanny Dark, Vance Harrelson, and Lance Arthurs.
He was a member of the Gideon Society.
