WINNFIELD -- Services for Parker Long Sr. will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. Louis Simon officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery near Winnfield.
Long, 94, of Winnfield died Wednesday morning in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.
He was a native of Winnfield, a veteran of World War I and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Louvenia Tullier of Pineville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
