Ethel May Tate, 94, of Broken Bow, passed away January 11, 2008, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital, Idabel. She was born March 27, 1913, the daughter of E.T. and Etta (Craddock) Mulkey.

Ethel was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and enjoyed reading her Bible, fishing and working in the garden. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.H. Tate; one daughter, Wanda Tate; one sister, Viola Nunn; three brothers, Elbert, Mitchell and Tommy Mulkey.

Ethel leaves to cherish her memory one son and daughter in law, Elbert and Margie Johnson, Broken Bow; three daughters and one son in law, Louise Hall, Broken Bow, Lois and Dan Peevy, Broken Bow and Mary Sharpe, Sacramento, CA; one brother, Douglas Mulkey, Holly Creek; three sisters, Irene Frunk, Hochatown, Hazel Hickman, Idabel and Clara Puckett, Sacramento, CA; seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, several other family members and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2008 at Pine Top Cemetery, Broken Bow. Rev. Melvin Baker will officiate.
