WILLIAM "BUCK" TATE

Funeral services for William "Buck" Tate, 67, Broken Bow were held today in the Nation Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Elwayne Schaeffer officiating.
Burial was in the Pine Top Cemetery in Broken Bow under the direction of Nation Funeral Home.
Mr. Tate was a truck driver by trade, a member of the Assembly of God Church and had lived in the community for 28 years. He married Ethel Mulkey on May 14, 1956 at Ada.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel of the home; one stepson, Elbert Johnson, Broken Bow; four stepdaughters, Louise Hall and Lois Peevy of Broken Bow, Mary Sharp and Wanda Foley, both of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Alford Tate and Jimmy Ray Tate, both of Ada; one sister, Edith Hendricks of Ada; and 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
