Hazel Anderson, 91, of Cherokee, Iowa, died Sat., July 1985, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee, Ia., following a year long illness. Hazal Ann Perrin Anderson was born Sept. 26, 1893, in Cherokee. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee.
Services were held Mon. July 29, 1985, from the First Church of Christ with Don Hensley officiating.
She was married to Adolph Anderson Dec. 25, 1912, in Cherokee. He died in 1939. She had been a resident of Cherokee since 1943.
Prior to that she lived on a farm in Pitcher Twp. in Cherokee County. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Cherokee.
She is survived by 5 sons, Harry and Harold of Aurelia; Paul and Marvin of Cherokee; and Wilmer of Alta; 12 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and 2 sisters.
