SPENCER, JACK HARRISON - age 88, of Knoxville, formerly of Stoneville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Ben Atchley State Veteran's Home. Jack was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Army. He spent 35 years in Illinois where he worked for Teamsters Local #710. Jack enjoyed time as an auto mechanic as a hobby. He was a loving, caring husband, father and PaPa to his eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Walker Spencer; parents, Daniel Thomas Spencer and Ethel Hodges Spencer; five sisters and three brothers. Jack is survived by his children, Daniel Thomas Spencer III and wife, Susie, Jacqueline Quinn Chladek and husband, Thomas, Michael Scott Spencer and wife, Carolyn, Patricia Ellen Devin and husband, Richard, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Mitchell, Amber, Erica, Amanda, Jonathan, Matthew, Jennifer and Richard; great grandson, Levi; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Plasters Family Cemetery in Vesta, Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,
