"A Life well lived" "A Life well loved" Gwen's life exemplified all that's good and virtuous. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sweet sister and aunt. She was born April 3, 1927 in Widtsoe, Utah to Parley P. Ackerman and Diantha Sorenson Ackerman the fifth of seven children. She returned to her Heavenly Father on October 14, 2004 at her daughter's home in Murray. She was taken suddenly by Multiple Myeloma Cancer. She was married to her sweetheart Gale George Gough September 24, 1943; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple September 7, 1979. Her strong testimony of the church was reflected by her exemplary life. Survived by her husband Gale, her daughter Sherry (Tom) Carlson of Bountiful; son Blaine (Lynda) Gough of Draper; son Brian Gough (fiancé Terri Olsen) of West Jordan; daughter Janet (Bert) Page; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters Lela Chapell, Viva Taylor, Melba Turner, Gelene (Dave) Davies, brother Boyd (Carol) Ackerman. Preceded in death by her mother, father and sister Vonda. We know they will be there to welcome her with open arms. Funeral Services held October 19, 2004 in the Draper 5th ward Chapel, 400 East Stokes Ave. (13580 So.) Interment at Larkin Sunset Garden.
