Botilda was an outstanding person and had a great memory for her life and others.

When she was very young her father was very ill so her cousin Lena and her husband George Ballard adopted her. She lived a school year with George's parents William and Sara Ballard who were living in Providence, Utah.

The time she spent with Lena and George Ballard was a happy one and they lived in Pocatello and Birch Creek Idaho. She met husband Henry Bucklin on the other side of the road in Birch Creek known as Lone Pine, Idaho. Both had ranches and the Goddard's Sam and Sarah lived down the road about a 1-1/2 mile. Sarah Goddard was a sister to George Ballard.

After she was married they lived in Idaho Falls and later moved to Calexio, California where George and Lena Ballard had purchased a hotel. They didn't enjoy it that much so they moved back to Idaho. Later they moved to California where they raised their children.

I have much more to add to her biography later.
