[In his Historical Collections of Harrison County in 1900, Charles A. Hanna listed this burial in Jenkins/Corinth Graveyard (page 371). I am very familiar with Freeport and Washington Township cemeteries in Harrison County, and I have witnessed this headstone in Freeport Methodist Cemetery several times. (I have encountered this same error with 4 other headstones in this cemetery.) Please contact me if you have any information concerning this anomaly. I would very much appreciate additional insight.
