Rev. Jeremiah Knox died suddenly in his bed, of heart disease, on Monday night, near Pittsburg. The Pittsburg Dispatch says: "His ministerial relations embraced the pastorate of quite a number of churches in the city and vicinity, and everywhere he was admired and beloved. Such was the shock occasioned to his friend Rev. James Dermitt, by the news of his death, that Rev. Dermitt was thrown into a fit of unconsciousness on receiving it at the Monongahela bridge yesterday morning, and it was some time before his recovery was assured.
