PRINCETON - Lena Hassler, 101, of Pine Island, Minn., formerly of Princeton, died Oct. 25 in Lake City Nursing Home in Minnesota.

Services were Monday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Earl Amundson officiated. Burial was in Pine Island Cemetery. Mahler Funeral Home of Pine Island was in charge of arrangements.

The former Lena Wunder was born April 30, 1884 in Princeton. She married Herman Hassler in 1905 and he died in 1930. She was a member of Pine Island Senior Citizens group and St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Esther Stoll of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Clyde (Kathryn) Forbeck of Tiskilwa and Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Krause of Zumbrota, Minn.; four sons, Earl of Lake City, Minn., Warren, Perry and Sino, all of Pine Island; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gerald Forbeck, Dean Stoll, Lonnie Lawell, Michael Hassler and Harley Donald Krause.
