Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow for Walter W. Briggs, of Quaker Street, who died Monday in Veterans Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Briggs, who was born in Quaker Street, was a veteran of World War I. He was active in Masonic groups in Altamont and Quaker Street, and a member of the First Christian Church in Quaker Street. For several years he was associated with the American Agriculture and Chemical Company in New York City.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elwood D. Lawton of Quaker Street; a son, John Calvin Briggs of Long Island; a sister, Mrs. DeWitt K. MacDonald, Albany; two nephews, Dr. Seward MacDonald, of Albany, and DeWitt K. MacDonald Jr. of San Rafael, Calif. And six grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the White Funeral Home, Delanson. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street.
