Theresa M. "Dolly" Herzing, 82, died Wednesday (June 13, 2007) in Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys.

She was born July 17, 1924 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Gerber Herzing.

Ms. Herzing was a member of St. Marys Church. She retired from Airco Carbon Co. after many years of service as a secretary. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club and the CYMA.

Surviving are one brother, Peter (Joan) Herzing of St. Marys; three sisters, Norma Reed of Emporium, Dolores Eichmiller and Irma Stanish, both of St. Marys; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Benedict "Sonny" Herzing; nine sisters: Ethel Dolan, Bea Herzing, Eleanor Green, Louise Duffield, Angie Reed, Loretta Jones, Ann Knarr, Martha "Honey" Herzing and Elizabeth "Betty" Bankovich.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Marys Catholic Church, with Rev. Frank E. Ziemkiewicz, O.S.B, as celebrant. Burial was in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
