He was born at Mundall PA, February 17, 1894.
In 1901 he moved with his family to Enfield. He served in the navy during World War I for three years as a seaman first class. After his discharge he lived at Wheaton where he was employed. He also lived in Minneapolis. In 1938 he moved to Milaca where he has lived ever since. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Co-op Oil association.
Three sisters and four brothers survive: Mrs. Charles Anderson, Monticello, Mrs. Rudolph Anderson, Fresno, California, Henry of Enfield, Vernon of Battle Lake. There are also 21 nieces and nephews. A step sister, Mrs. Arvid Carlson and a step brother, Donald Lidberg in Fresno California.
