Daughter of US Senator Strom Thurmond. At age 22 in 1993, she was struck and killed by a drunk driver in Columbia, South Carolina. Nancy was the former Miss Liberty South Carolina, and she participated in the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Pageant. She is buried beside her father. Bio by Jimmy Gilstrap
