MRS. CHURCHILL FOUND DEAD
LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 9. - Mrs John Churchill, wife of Colonel John Churchill, the owner of Churchill Downs, and one of the best known women in Louisville, was found dead in bed at her home at 1114 Fourth avenue about 8 o'clock this morning.
Mrs Churchill had been a sufferer from asthma for some time. For the past ten days she had been confined to her room. Yesterday, however, she appeared to be in better health than usual. There was no intimation that the end was near when she retired about 10 o'clock.
This morning when the maid entered the room to make the fire she found Mrs Churchill dead. Life had been extinct for several hours. Heart failure, following an attack of asthma, wad the cause of death.
