Mrs. Ollie Breen Dies At Rochester

ROCHESTER - Mrs. Ollie (Meyer) Breen, 64, 719 E. Ninth st., died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at woodlawn Hospital. She had been ill for 18 months, and hospitalized 12 weeks. Born April 10, 1899, in this city, she was the daughter of Edward and Clara (Rush) Emmons. Her first marriage, on Jan. 19, 1921, in Fulton, was to Tom Meyer. He died in July, 1928. In 1938 she was married to Clarence Breen, who died in 1946. She was a member of the Church of God, Mother of World War II, Gold Star Mothers and American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors are two sons, Dean Meyer, Mentone, and Howard Meyer of here; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Bryant, route 1, Rochester, and Mrs. Wayne Zolman, Tippecanoe; two brothers, Harvey Rush, route 5, Rochester, and Don Rush, route 1, Macy; several nieces and nephews. A son and a brother preceded her in death. Friends may call from 7 p.m. tonight until noon Saturday at Foster and Good Funeral Home. Rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God with the Rev. C. J. Mowrer officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour preceding services.
