Frank Beer, aged 79, 504 Millikin street, well known and highly respected citizen, died Sunday, 5:30 p.m. of general debility at Mercy hospital. Mr. Beer was born in Cincinnati, but came to Hamilton with his parents 76 years ago and made his home here since that time. He leaves the bereaved widow, Mrs. Margaret Beer; fours sons, George J., Peter, Frank and Leo Beer, all of Hamilton; four daughters, Mrs. John Pflanzer, Mrs. Walter McDonald, Mrs. Herman Sanders and Mrs. William Hoffman, all of Hamilton; 32 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Smith, Minneapolis. Minn., and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Beer was a devout Catholic and was one of the founders of St. Peter’s church in the First ward. He was also a member of the Men’s society of that congregation. Services will take place Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. from the residence and at 9 a.m. from St. Peter’s church. Interment will be made in St. Stephen’s cemetery. Friends may call after Tuesday noon.
