Charles Worden Thruston Churchill lived on a plantation near Little Rock, Ar. and in Elizabethtown, Ky. He married in 1851 in Hardin County, Ky., his cousin, Susan Churchill Payne (1829-75), daughter of Col. James Brown (1804-34) and Eliza Ann Churchill Payne (1807-80). Their seven children were William Henry (1851-92); Hampden Zane (1853-1917) who served in the Arkansas Legislature; Mary Payne (1855-56); Abby Oldham (1857); Samuel Thomas (1859-1932) who lived in Louisville; Eliza (1862-68); and Charles Thruston Churchill (1865-1909) who lived in Louisville. William Henry Churchill (1851-92) was the only one who married and had a child. Eliza Ann Churchill (1807-80) was the daughter of Henry (1768-1842) and Penelope Pope Churchill (1769-1821).
