The funeral of Mrs. Doris (Haling) Modena, 27, of 14 Sierling Street, wife of Bernath Modena, who died Monday night at Hartford Hospital, will be held Thursday at 3pm at the funeral home of Morrison W. Johnson, 749 Albany Avenue. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery. Born in Hartford, Mrs. Modena was formerly employed at the Aetna Life Insurance Company and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she leaves an infant son, Edward Modena; her parents, Luella and Ernest Haling; and a brother, Edward E. Haling.
