Charles L. Fess, 78, died early Tuesday at 700 Lima-st, Kenton, after an illness of two years.
He was born in Allen-co and was a retired attorney, having practiced in Lima for 40 years.
He is survived by three sons, Gerald C., employe of The Lima News, Guy H., of Pasadena, Calif., Donald, with the Armed forces in Italy; one daughter, Mrs. Madeline Murdock, of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, of Lima.
The body will remain at the Davis, Miller and Son funeral home where final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Cathedral Chapel with Rev. Otis Harter officiating. Place of burial is undecided.
