ORA MURRAY HODGGES; 1913-1915
Although a domestic person, Governor Hodges' slight, sensative wife entertained a great deal when she was Kansas's first lady. Her parties were very enjoyable affairs and she was a witty and charmng hostes. It was she who first assembled the pictures of all the previous first ladies and displayed them in the Governor's mansion. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and active in her church.
