Nannie (Hughes) Ferguson died on 24 Jan 1863, only eight months after her marriage. Lexington Cemetery records show her as Nannie Ferguson, but her headstone in the Hughes Lot reads Anna.
Nannie appears to have died as a result of giving birth to a child named A.F.Ferguson. The infant died less than 2 weeks after she died, and is buried in the Ferguson Lot (Sect P, Lot 61, Part S1/2) with her husband Robert and his second wife and parents.
Nannie was originally buried in a vault on the Hughes farm on Maysville Pike, and moved to the Lexington Cemetery on 23 Dec 1884 along with several other Hughes family members.
