A checker at Danielson's Thriftway for more than 14 years, Mrs. Bowen lived in Clark County 29 years.
She was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Okeanea, Ohio. Her maiden name was Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur M., at home; one daughter, Nancy Lillard of Vancouver; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Hildreth Hively, in 1994.
Mrs. Bowen was a member of Brush Prairie Baptist Church and enjoyed making afghans and wedding cakes, farming, gardening and canning.
Burial will be in Brush Prairie Church. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
