Anne Christine Seitz was born in Wapakoneta, she was the first of 3 children. Her mother died when she was 5 years old, and she lived with her grandparents until her father remarried in 1922. She graduated from Blume High School in 1931 and began working as a bookkeeper for a hardware store in Wapakoneta. She married Clarence Merle Cornell on March 23, 1935. They moved to Wooster, Ohio and had 3 children; Judith, Susan, and Nathaniel.
They later moved back to Wapakoneta and lived at 313 West Benton Street. Eventually they moved to a home at 1016 Glynwood Road. Clarence died in 1971. Anne continued to live on Glynwood Road until 2006, when she moved to her daughter's home in Toledo, Ohio. She died there from heart failure at the age of 94. She was survived by 2 children, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Anne was a lifelong member of the St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Wapakoneta, the Wapakoneta Women's Club, and the Soroptimists.
