Glenn A. Olson was born in Brandon, Minnesota on September 16, 1912 the son of Henry and Jennie (Bergh) Olson. He was baptized at West Moe Lutheran Church, confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church and was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church of Brandon. He attended District #82 school and graduated from Brandon High School. Glenn married Beulah Alberts on October 12, 1940 at Evansville, Minnesota. The Olsons lived in Brandon and Evansville where Glenn's occupation was farming.
Glenn died at the Douglas County Hospital on Mary 13, 1979. Surviving are his wife, Beulah; one daughter, Mrs. Randal (Marilyn) Eggen of Fargo, North Dakota; three sons, Bruce of Jacksonville, Oregon; Roger of Rosendale, Wisconsin; Mark of Pasadena, California. Also surviving are five grandchildren; one sister, Miss Lila Olson of Brandon; three brothers: Harvey of Brandon; Elroy of Marysville, Washington; Clarence of Montclair, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband and father.
Fuenral services were held May 17, 1979 at Grace Lutehran Church, Brandon with Rev. John L. Quam officiating. The soloist, Mr. David Klukken was accompanied by Mrs. Dennis Johnson. Pallbearers were Adrian Roswold, David Olson, Ray Strand, Lester Olson, Jerome Olson and Jeffrey Olson. Interment was at Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, Minnesota. Services directed by Alexandria Funeral Home.
