Hazel Matilda Stevens was born Dec. 28, 1912 at Polk, NE. On Sept. 1, 1932 she married Charles Glenn Hill, at Polk, NE. Glenn was born Jun 19, 1909. He was a General Contractor. Hazel received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska and taught many years in the Polk Elementary School and later was a substitute teacher. She received the Freedom Foundation Award. Hazel also served on the Polk Library Board.
