TUPELO - Mrs. Paul L. (Julia O.) Wells Sr., 91, died Friday in Carter's Guest Home. Services are 3 p.m. today at Raymond Presbyterian Church with burial in Raymond Cemetery. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
A native of Starkville, she had lived in Raymond before moving here. She was a graduate of Mississippi Synodical College and was an educator for more than 50 years. She was a Presbyterian.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Betty Williams of Clinton; sons, Paul L. Wells Jr. of Jackson and Hoyt R. Wells of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, W. H. Owen of Starkville and Raymond Owen of Leesburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
