Vera Klager rites
Services for Vera Klager, 85, of 2442 Tilghman St., Allentown, formerly of Ashland, who died Tuesday at her residence, will be held at 10 am Saturday from Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Jay Serafin will officiate. Interment will be in Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle.
Born in Helfenstein, August 21, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Weikel) Hornberger.
She was employed by Ashland Shirt Co., Ashland, until her retirement.
She was a member of Christ United Lutheran Church, RD Ashland, and a past member of the Ashland Senior Citizens.
Her husband Carl died in 1956. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl Jr., in 1983.
Surviving are two sons, Gene, of Whitehall, and Wade, of Marshfield, Wis.; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
