Peggie Hinton Age 53, resident of Crest Hill, IL, passed away after a sudden illness on Saturday October 10, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Born January 7, 1956 in Marion, AL to the parents of William and Mary J. Hinton. Peggie was baptized and accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Joliet, IL under the leadership of the late Rev. A.M. Vernado. Peggie attended Marion Public Grade School, Marion, Alabama, Fairmont Grade School, and Lockport Township High School both of Lockport, IL. She was employed at Harrah's Joliet Casino and Hotel. Preceding her in death father William Hinton Sr., and brothers William Hinton Jr., and Frank J. Hinton. To embrace precious memories, Peggie leaves her dear mother Mary J. Hinton; of Lockport, IL; five children; four sons: Tyrone Hinton of Joliet, Michael Hinton, Timothy Hinton, Eugene Hinton all of Lockport; and one daughter; Valla Hinton of Joliet; godson, Stephen Dawson of Lockport and special niece Speshal Hinton of Lockport; her siblings, Jesse (Annabelle) Hinton of Joliet, Correne, Larry, George of Lockport, Willene (Clarence) Bailey of Joliet, Willie (Darlene), William III, Mary B, Valla, Joseph (Tawanna) Hinton all of Lockport; four grandchildren, Tyrone Hinton Jr. (TJ), TyJae Hinton, Sha'Niya Hinton and Ge'Nyiah Hinton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation Friday, October 16, 2009 2-4 pm at the funeral home and 6-8 pm at All Nations Church Of God In Christ, 503 Water St., Joliet, IL. Service at 8pm. Bishop Robert R. Sanders, officiating.
