Former Resident of Salt Lake Dies In California City --- Jesse H. Loofbourow, 58, former Salt Lake City resident and brother of former Congressman Frederick C. Loofbourow and the late Wade Loofbourow, died at his home in Modesto, Cal., early Tuesday, according to word received here by relatives.
Mr. Loofbourow was born in Atlantic, Iowa, and moved to Salt Lake City with his family in 1889. He was formerly a member of the engineering staff of the Oregon Short Line Railroad company and for the past five years had been engineer on the staff of the Miller & Lux company in California.
He was a member of Progress lodge No. 22, F. and A. M., of Salt Lake City.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annabelle Ford Loofbourow; two daughters, Helen Loofbourow of Modesto; Jessie Loofbourow, secretary to the principal at West high school; two brothers, Frederick C. Loofbourow of Salt Lake City and Leon L. Loofbourow of Modesto.
