WYOMING - George T. ''Bud'' McHugh, 82, of 516 N. Galena died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born Sept. 6, 1918, in Wyoming to John and Hazel Cooper McHugh, he married Clara Winski on Dec. 25, 1945, in Kewanee. She survives.

Also surviving are one sister, Peggy (Mrs. Robert) Milroy of Wyoming; one niece; and several nephews.

Two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions in Europe. He was a member of Wyoming American Legion Post 91.

He was co-owner of Wyoming Hardware for many years, retiring in 1984.

He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Wyoming, where a funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Charles Karl will officiate. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at Wyoming Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Dominic's Cemetery.
