Funeral of Dnaiel wil be held at the Albright Evangelical Church west of Atlanta at 2 p.m. thursday afternoon, the cortege will leave the home at 1:30 o'clock, The services will be in charge of Rev. Yokley Brewer and Parker of Atlanta and interment will be in the Dunkard Cemetery. He died at his home near Atlanta, Hamilton, Indiana Tuesday. In his death, the community loses one of its most highly respected citizens, who had done so much to build up the community and who was always actively engaged in Sunday school and church work. Born in Lancaster Pa, on July 15, 1840 and came to Indiana with his parents when he was about 7 years old. Later they moved to west of Atlanta when he was about 10 years old, then they moved to the present homestead where Daneil's death took place at the age of 73. Dec 21, 1871 he married to Miss Mary Louise Klotz, south of Atlanta, they would have celebrated their golden anniversary if he lived until Dec of this year. 8 children were born to their union, all of them still survive, they are Ed Snyder, Will Snyder, George Snyder, Elmer Synder, Mrs. Otto Illges, and Mrs Harry Creek of Logansport, and Charles Clark of the Atlanta vicinity, Mrs Frank Phillips of Pendleton, he is also survived by three brothers, Jacob Snyder, of Sharpsville, Abe Snyder of Montana, Samuel Snyder of Kokomo, and Mrs. Wann west of Cicero, and by 35 grandchildren. Mr. Snyder had been an active member of the Evangelical Assoication for 52 years and it was through his efforts and financial suport that Albright church was built and it was a big influence for the community, for 33 years he served as superintendent of the Sunday school and the school stand as moments to his zeal and courage and untiring efforts in his behalf.
