New Berlin, April 7 - Miss Phoebe Elliott, 74, died at the family esidence here this morning following a third stroke of paralysis suffered ten days ago. Miss Elliott was born and reared at the family homestead where she spent her entire life. Surviving are one brother, C. Y. Elliott, New Berlin; and a large number of relatives living in Jacksonville, Springfield and in this community. - IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 4-8-1924
