Tom owned and operated Tom Hickman Diesel Repair on North Central in Idabel for many years. He could fix anything and enjoyed trying to teach his grandchildren to mechanic. Tom loved to fish and spend time with his family. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel Hickman; a son, Wesley Hickman; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Tom is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Vonna Hickman of Broken Bow, OK; brother-in-law, Doug Mulkey of Broken Bow, OK; sister-in-law, Irene Frunk of Wintrop, TX; special friends, Mike Helms of Idabel, OK and David Terry of Avery, TX; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Pine Top Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Philip Snow officiating.
