Actress, Voice Actress, Comedienne. She got her start as an actress in 1947 and received her first credited role in "Hometown Girl" as Crawford in 1948. In her career that ran from 1947 until 2020 she appeared in over 60 films and television productions such as "Racing with the Moon" (1984), "Nancy Drew" (2007), "BFFs" (2014), "The Red Buttons Show" (1952-1953), "The Ann Sothern Show" (1961), "The Carol Burnett Show" (1971), "Laverne & Shirley" (1976), "Trapper John, M.D." (1985), and "Crazy Like a Fox" (1985). She also did numerous voice over roles for several major animated films such as "The Little Mermaid," "The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea," "Mickey's House of Villains," "Yogi's Treasure Hunt," and "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo." She also appeared in several stage productions and on a variety of game shows. She was an Emmy, Drama Desk, and Grammy Award winner and was nominated for a Tony Award. She was married once, ending in divorce and together they had 3 children.
