Fay Nell Yaw Norris, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
She was born on March 8, 1932 and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. Fay was a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church of Sulphur. She was an artist and especially enjoyed oil painting of animals and landscapes.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Doan and husband, Danny of Sulphur; her sons, William "Randy" Norris and wife, Bella Ann of Westlake, David Norris of Rowlett, Texas, Daniel Norris and wife, Cynthia "Cysi" of Sulphur; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Norris; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Norris; and her seven siblings.

Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Harlan Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday in the funeral home. The family would like to give special thanks to Heart of Hospice, especially Shannon and Jasmine who showed such compassion and patience toward our mother.
