Funeral services for James "Jimmy" Douglas Putman of Hanceville will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service.
Mr. Putman was born on April 17, 1946 in Nashville, TN and died at the age of 75 on July 7, 2021 in Birmingham, AL. He entered the United States Marines in April of 1966 and served his country as Sergeant for 3 years before being honorably discharged.
