He married Eva Laurencia Nies about 1892 and died 29 January 1928 at Irvington, AL. Eva was born 19 January 1873 at Saugatuck, Allegan Co MI, daughter of Jan Nies and Johanna Quintina Kruisenga (both born in Holland), and died 22 February 1954. In 1910 they lived at Statesville, Iredell Co NC where Clarence was a hospital physician. They had three children-*
