FRANK VOGEL - Frank Vogel, 88, retired lumber worker, died at his home, 134 Strowbridge street, last evening at 7:30 o'clock. Death was due to the infirmities of old age. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Helke funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. J.B. Hauck officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Kelly. The body will be at the funeral home until the time of the funeral. Born in Bohemia, April 16, 1847, the deceased came to Wausau from that country in 1882. He was married in Bohemia in 1871 to Miss Mary Glaube. Surviving him are his widow; two sons, Henry Vogel of Red Bluff, California and John Vogel of Wausau; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Honick of Milwaukee, and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
