Roy S. Johnson, 82, Rockford, died Sun., July 25, 1999, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born March 20, 1917, in Rockford, the son of Birger and Augusta (Anderson) Johnson. Married Mary Massari in Rockford on Dec. 16, 1944. He was a co-partner with Tony Cornelius of JEFCO Inc for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge, Corona-John Erickson 23 and the Svithiod Club for 64 years.
Survivors include wife, Mary; daughters, Barbara (John) Myers and Carol (Jay) Few; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents and brother, Edwin Johnson.
