MERIDIAN — Services for Gertrude A. Stein, 74, of 238 West Washington, Meridian, who died Saturday at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, by Read Wilkinson and Richard Marshall of Jehovah's witnesses. Interment will be at Cloverdale Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stein was born Jan. 24, 1898, in Omaha, Neb., and came to Meridian in 1955. She had previously lived in California and Washington, D.C. She was married to Arthur Stein on Nov. 18, 1962 in Meridian. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness's church at Meridian.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Russell Brooks, Boise, and two grandchildren.
Pall bearers will be Raymond Splinter, Blaine Little, Bob Lorimer, Kenneth Aldrich Jr., David Aldrich, and Gary Eschelman.
