The burial place of Mary Ann Tate Baird is unknown today. As stated above, she was first buried in the Presbyterian Church graveyard. One source says she and her husband Israel were moved to the Abraham Reynolds family cemetery at Bent Creek, Buncombe County when the graveyard was decommissioned. In the mid-1980's, her gravestone was still resting under the church along with the stones of others including her husband Israel Baird. Currently, both stones are still at the church in a restricted area.
